Clevedon pupils have been getting advice on computer programming from sixth form students.
Mary Elton Primary School was visited by Amy Eager from Clevedon School for a coding session.
Year five teacher Joy Stanford said: “Amy has been brilliant.
“She has had a significant and positive impact on the learning that has taken place with our year five pupils.
“She has been punctual and highly engaging during the sessions, demonstrating sound subject knowledge which has been of great support to pupils and staff alike.”
Clevedon School headteacher Jim Smith added: “These sixth form students have been extraordinary in passing on their passion and skills for coding to the younger pupils.
“It has been a fantastic learning project all round.”
Amy’s fellow Clevedon School students have been taking sessions at other North Somerset schools.
