Residents at a care home in Clevedon have been given some festive entertainment by pupils from Clevedon School.

Gorselands Care Home in The Avenue welcomed students who showcased some of their singing, dancing, musical and acting skills that they have been honing during rehearsals for a school production of Guys And Dolls.

The pupils also tucked into tea and some tasty mince pies and played a session of bingo with the residents.

A spokesman for Gorselands Care Home thanked the students for their efforts.

They said: “At the end of the afternoon the children presented each person with a homemade Christmas card and a gift.”
