Clevedon primary school hosts space-themed summer fair

Characters from a galaxy far, far away have thrilled visitors to a summer fair in Clevedon.
St John the Evangelist Primary School, in Fosseway, welcomed some popular Star Wars characters to its space-themed celebration.
The visitors posed for pictures with excited youngsters while there was also a variety of other attractions and activities to keep everyone entertained.
Clevedon Lions Club took along its roller coaster while games including a lucky dip and bottle-bola gave everyone the chance to win some prizes.
Stalls selling books, sweets and space toys were also set up while a barbecue proved very popular in the hot sunshine.

A school spokesman said: “The weather stayed warm and sunny for the barbecue and lots of fun was had on the obstacle course and Lions roller coaster.
“Thanks to all the parents and staff who made it possible.”
