Clevedon author tells of wartime woe

A former actor and historian has released a book about life during World War Two.

Richard Knott, from Clevedon, has written a new book called Posted In Wartime: Letters Home From Abroad.

The book uses correspondence written during wartime by the likes of Cecil Beaton, Noel Coward and Freya Stark to reveal the human cost of being posted abroad during the conflict.
