PUPILS at St Peter’s Primary School in Portishead have been choosing gifts for children around the world.

The students have taken part in Operation Christmas Child, a project which aims to make Christmas brighter for youngsters in poorer countries.

Scores of shoe boxes were filled with gifts and handed over to Samaritan’s Purse, the organisation which handles the shipping and distribution of the gifts to those less fortunate.
