The Chinese New Year was celebrated at several schools before pupils broke up for half-term.
The celebration on February 8 was marked with events over the following days at schools in Wraxall and Nailsea.
The University of Bristol Chinese Lion Dance Troupe visited Golden Valley Primary School on February 10.
Meanwhile Wraxall Primary School pupils attended lessons in traditional dress on Friday.
