BRAVING cutting winds and flurries of snow, a group of hardy children from Clevedon achieved their level two Bikeability awards.

The 16 pupils from Mary Elton Primary School spent the day in the cold learning how to stay safe when riding their bikes on the road.

One pupil called Millie said: “It’s been very challenging, especially the end bit doing it all around the junction and back again, but I’ve enjoyed it.”

The children will receive their certificates at the next whole school celebration assembly.
