Members of the community were invited into a Nailsea school to share memories of life in World War Two.
Year six pupils from Grove Junior School dressed as evacuees and entertained visitors with singing, dancing and persuasive speeches on significant war events.
They also created a 1940s shoe box room to share with visitors.
The day was organised as part of the students’ study of the war.
