Generous children have been collecting warm clothes to give to homeless people in Bristol.
School councillors from Flax Bourton Primary School asked pupils to bring in hats, gloves, scarves, coats and boots.
Kind-hearted children and staff collected five bin bags full of clothing to donate to the homeless.
The items were given to the Sisters of the Church in St Paul’s Bristol to give out to people living on the streets.
Ruby, from year four, and Henry, from year three, said: “We’re very pleased with how much we collected.”
Ruby and Henry are school councillors who organised the collection on behalf of the school. Representatives from the Sisters of the Church visited the school to tell the pupils about the vital work they do.
