A dog training day has raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
Mary Elton Primary School raised money for the sensory unit at Bristol Children’s Hospital, collecting a total of £550.
Activities including face-painting, a dog treat and owner’s cake sale took place on the day while a dog show featuring categories such as waggiest tail and best fancy dress was held.
A host of games based around the school’s own dog Ava were also held, including an Ava portrait competition and a trail.
The dog training day was run in partnership with Little Orchard Dog Training Academy in Rooksbridge.
