Delighted pupils and teachers from Nailsea School have been given £1,500 towards new science equipment.
AM Environmental Management, which is run from Nailsea by women with qualifications in chemistry and environmental law, presented the money to the school after visiting its science department.
Anne-Marie Pheasant, from AM Environmental Management, said: “I hope this donation, combined with the excellent facilities at Nailsea School, will encourage students to take up chemistry, biology or physics – which would be wonderful.”
The school is grateful to the firm for its generous donation which will be used to buy equipment for the school’s science week celebrations later this year.
