Children will soon be able to enjoy a water feature and seating in a quiet area of the school grounds.

Kingshill Church School in Nailsea has been given a donation of £1,000 from Persimmon Homes to boost facilities for children.

The money will be put towards the cost of a water feature and seats in the reflective courtyard at the school in Pound Lane.

The reflective courtyard will include wildflowers, a pond and seats.

Children will be able to use the area for science, religious education and art studies.

Carole Negus from Persimmon Homes visited the children to hand over the donation and see what the money will be used for.
