CHILDREN from a Backwell school cooked muffins to help the homeless for their harvest festival celebrations.
Pupils from West Leigh Infant School enjoyed a harvest service where they heard a talk from Alan Goddard about the work of the Crisis Centre in Bristol which helps the homeless. Children cooked muffins to sell at the coffee morning after the service and all the proceeds were donated to the Crisis Centre.
