YOUNG cyclists had their bikes checked over as part of a course aimed at making them safe on the roads.
Children at Tickenham Primary School have been taking part in Bikeability, described as cycling proficiency for the 21st century.
By the end of the course the children should be confident riders and have basic skills needed to cycle on roads.
Also as part of the scheme, they have had their bikes checked over to make sure they are roadworthy.
