A new nursery has opened in Wraxall.
Bertie’s Nursery School, in Charlton Drive, will be part of Wraxall based independent preparatory, The Downs School.
Bosses say Bertie’s ambition will be to provide early years places in the North Somerset area for up to 80 children, from six months to four years old, on a full-time or term-time only basis.
All children will be given the opportunity to receive specialist teaching in diverse subjects and surroundings, including forest school, the performing arts, dance, drama and languages.
Marcus Gunn, headmaster of The Downs, told the Times: “We believe that creating Bertie’s in such an exceptional and safe environment will encourage all our children to love and respect the great outdoors and give them all the skills they will need for the future, as well as many special memories of their time with us.”
