Backwell School does Cabaret

PERFORMING arts students at Backwell School are gearing up for one of their most challenging productions to date.

Rehearsals for Cabaret, tackling the issues of pre-Nazi Berlin, started last summer with about 60 pupils from years 10-13 making up the cast, orchestra and back-stage crew.

Performances, starting at 7.30pm, run from January 30-February 3.

Tickets, costing 7 for adults and 5 for concessions, are available from or from the school’s reception area off Meadow Close.
