RARE moon rocks and meteorites landed at Backwell School as pupils enjoyed an interactive astronomy lesson.
A rock from Mars and a nickel meteorite were just some of the items students were able to handle during lessons.
The lunar samples were provided by the UK’s Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and were collected in the late 1960s during some of NASA’s first manned space missions to the moon.
