Children learnt about staying safe on firework night while vying for a prize in an art competition.
Twenty four children from Grove Junior School in Nailsea took part in a competition to design a poster to show people how to stay safe on bonfire night.
The contest was held by Co-operative Funeralcare in Nailsea and Ronnie and Jane from the firm gave out prizes to the winners and competitors.
Lauren Batt, from year five, won first prize.
