DALMATIANS, witches and angels were some of the colourful characters who attended lessons in Backwell.
Pupils at Backwell Junior School dressed as their favourite book characters as they welcomed author Jeremy Strong to class.
Jeremy, who has written a number of titles including Cartoon Kid and My Granny’s Great Escape, talked to pupils about his inspiration for the stories and the importance of reading.
The popular author then held a book-signing before heading to West Leigh Infant School to talk to the younger pupils.
