FORMER St Katherine’s School student turned author, Huw Powell, paid a visit to the Pill school to talk about his writing.
Huw has recently signed a three-book deal and his first tale, entitled Space Jackers, has already been published.
The 37-year-old, who now lives in Portishead, talked to students about how he was inspired to write by J K Rowling and also his brother, Gareth, who is also a published author.
He also explained how he came up with the Space Jackers theme.
