Arty students complete school refurb
PUPILS at Congresbury’s St Andrew’s Primary School have been busy with their paintbrushes, creating this dazzling artwork on new fencing around their pond.
Youngsters completed the colourful designs with help from construction firm Willmott Dixon during a 35-week school refurbishment.
Work included adding a new building linking the infant and junior school together, and installing a new roof over a courtyard area.
A pond has been relocated, and the bright new artwork will encircle it.
Willmott Dixon building manager Neil Matthews said: “We wanted to give something back to the students at the school and create a lasting legacy for them.
