MUMMIES and pharaohs took over a classroom at Crockerne Primary School as pupils learned about the history of Egypt.
Children in years three and four at the Pill school have been learning about the country during the past term and recently enjoyed a whole day themed around it.
They handled artefacts, pretended to be archaeologists and even gave a performance to a school assembly all about mummification.
