FILM-making, cooking, art, rock school, mad science and fashion are just some of the activities Backwell School pupils have enjoyed as part of enrichment week.
The school put on a host of exciting and innovative activities and trips throughout the week to boost students’ education.
Nearly 400 pupils chose to go on trips to Paris, the Isle of Wight or Great Wood in Somerset while the rest opted to take part in activities in Backwell.
School-based activities included courses such as cool cooks, safari challenge, fashion fix, the photographer, and creative media where students painted murals at Backwell Leisure Centre and in the school’s music department.
Marie Davis, enrichment and community co-ordinator at the school, said: “Staff have worked incredibly hard both on the residential trips and here in school to make the week a success.”
