POPULAR foods from the 19th century were enjoyed by children in Portishead as they tucked into their very own Victorian feast.
Pupils in year six at Portishead Primary School have been studying the Victorians as part of their class topic and as part of this had the chance to cook and eat some of the dishes that were popular at the time. This included a classic Victoria sponge cake and a Winifred pudding.
