TENNIS enthusiasts from the school made a trip to SW19 to enjoy a day at the Wimbledon tournament.
The pupils were chosen for their interest in their sport and also the amount of hard work they put into PE at the school.
During a tour of the All England Club they spotted a number of celebrities including boxer David Haye, TV presenter John Inverdale and comedian Lee Mack.
The students then took their seats on centre court and court number one for the first matches of the day involving Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal.
The weather was not on their side and the heavens opened, causing a lengthy rain delay. As a result, all of the pupils were given a chance to sit in on matches on centre court, which has a roof, and watched Nadal, Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova in action. By early evening, the covers were taken off the rest of the courts, giving the pupils the chance to watch a number of other outside matches.
