COMPETITIONS and food tasting were put on during a school food festival.
St Katherine’s School in Pill was filled with the delicious smells of many different dishes as part of the week-long event.
As many as nine activities were put on each day with visitors sharing their culinary experience with pupils.
Students had the chance to try many things, there was a guest chef for each day, a ready steady cook competition and even the chance to learn how to pluck a fresh pigeon for a stew.
A demonstration of making ice cream using liquid Nitrogen also proved popular.
