MUSLIM and Asian women living in Clevedon went along to Yeo Moor Primary School to help educate pupils and parents about differing cultures.
A mini multi-cultural event was put on at the Kennaway Road school with samples of food to try and display boards to browse.
Some of the women put together a recipe book of their favourite foods, some compiled a quiz for the schoolchildren to enjoy and others offered Henna painting.
The event was put on following two years of work with the women, organised by North Somerset Council’s community learning service, as part of a pilot multi-cultural project.
