Students at Clevedon School are celebrating today after receiving some ‘excellent’ A-level results.
The school in Valley Road has achieved a 100 per cent pass rate, with a record 31 per cent of pupils achieving the top grades of A* and A. This is a nine per cent increase on last year’s results.
Four pupils – Helen Norman, John Branch, Arran Elcoate and Oliver Longstaff – have also won places to study at Oxford and Cambridge universities.
Head of sixth form Jeremy Newall said: “This year group has been a delight. Their support for one another and their cohesiveness as a unit has been great.
“We are absolutely chuffed for our pupils and they have all done really well.”
