A SPECIAL event at St Katherine’s School in Pill gave students the chance to show off their cookery skills.
An open evening was held at the school’s restaurant, The Leaf, in conjunction with Bristol caterers, Whisk.
It was aimed at reinforcing the Ham Green school’s connections with the wider catering industry and former pupil Steven Newman, who is now an apprentice at Whisk, gave pupils an insight into the opportunities available and the qualifications needed to become an apprentice.
