A FOREST school project in Long Ashton has received a boost after £1,700 was donated toward it.
Birdwell School has been given the money by the Co-Operative after the school applied to the company’s Co-Operative Membership Community Fund.
The money will be spent on continuing improvements to the academy school’s wooded area, buying specialist equipment and funding outdoor sessions for primary-aged children.
