YOUNG Portishead film-makers were invited to an awards ceremony in Bristol on Sunday.
Year four pupils at High Down Junior School took part in the Wildscreen Festival, organised by Avon Wildlife Trust, which tasked them with creating documentaries about the animals and plants at Portbury Wharf Nature Reserve. More than 50 films were entered and four of the school’s entries were shortlisted, with one by Holy, Lily, Sky and Hannah making it to the final.
