DELIGHTED orphans in Kenya have been showing off their new kit donated by a sports club in Backwell.
Backwell Athletic Junior Football Club’s under-11s team decided to hand over their football kit to orphaned and abandoned children living at the New Life Home Trust in Nakuru.
The team also held a fundraiser in the summer to pay for the strips to be sent out to Africa.
The New Life Home Trust sent photos of the children playing football in their new sports clothes and thanked club members for their generosity.
