Children soaked wet sponges ready to throw at their teachers during a summer fair in Nailsea.
Hannah More Infants and Grove Junior schools put on the joint event to raise money for extra resources for pupils.
The attractions included a bouncy castle, a fire engine, face painting and games including a coconut shy.
One of the most popular stalls was the wine or whine table where visitors paid to guess whether a bottle was filled with wine or water.
The schools raised more than £2,000 from the fair and the money will be used to pay for school trips and sports kits.
