Year two classes have enjoyed a trip to Clevedon Court.
Both groups in the year at Mary Elton Primary School in Holland Road attended the estate where they learned about the impact the Elton family has had on the town, including starting the first fire brigade, building the Triangle clock tower and opening the community hospital.
Cheryl Brown, year two teacher, said: “The children had such a fantastic time and loved being shown around by Toby the dog.”
