Helpful children at St Joseph’s Primary School in Portishead popped into Sainsbury’s to lend a hand to customers.
The children packed shoppers’ bags to raise money at the end of September. A total of £649 was collected which will be used to improve the school’s library service.
A spokesman for the Portishead supermarket said customers had praised the ‘amazing’ children for their kindness and help they provided.
