Children enjoyed races, ball games and sports skills during an exciting sports day at a Nailsea school.
Pupils from St Francis Primary School enjoyed competing against their class mates during a day of sports and games at the school in Station Road.
Families were invited in to cheer their children on as they took part in a variety of team games on the school field.
Children were able to tuck into burgers and sausages from the barbecue afterwards.
The event was a huge success and the school would like to thank everyone who helped out and supported the event.
A school spokesman said: “All our athletes should be very proud of themselves for showing great team spirit and putting every ounce of effort and determination into each activity.
“Thank you to all who worked behind the scenes and the barbecue to make the day run smoothly.”
