Drama enthusiasts from Nailsea took part in Shakespeare Schools Festival.
The festival has been running for 16 years and students from schools across the country were invited to take part in a programme of events to help them understand Shakespeare.
Students from Nailsea School were involved this year and pupils visited the Trinity Arts Centre in Bristol to work with two professional producers from the Shakespeare Schools Doundation in a workshop designed to improve their performance and understanding of the bard’s plays.
Twenty-six pupils took part in the festival in a variety of roles – on the stage, backstage, producing, lighting and directing.
Nailsea School performed an abridged version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream for the event.
The show was held at the Tobacco Theatre in Bristol on Monday.
