A record 100 shoe boxes have been put together for the Blythswood Christmas Shoe Box Appeal by Clevedon School students.

The shoe boxes, which are wrapped after being filled with suitable toys for boys and girls, were collected by staff and students from across the school.

Rose North, subject leader for religious education and ethics, said: “We were delighted to support the Christmas shoe box appeal as it really does support those in need.”

John Wells, headteacher, said: “I am delighted with the response from the staff and students.”
