A WOMAN has been taken to hospital with a serious head injury following an accident in Portishead this morning (Fri).
Emergency services were called to the A369 Portbury Hundred at just after 9am to reports of an accident involving two cars.
The driver of a Ford Fiesta suffered a serious head injury and has been taken to hospital. The second driver received only minor injuries.
The road remains closed while the police work to remove the cars from the road.
