A WOMAN was left trapped in her car following an accident in Portishead this morning (Thurs).
The incident happened at about 11.20am, with two cars crashing at the junction of Combe Road and Slade Road.
A silver Ford Focus ended up down a bank while the female driver of a silver Audi car was left trapped. Fire crews were called to the scene to cut her free.
An ambulance and police officers were also at the scene, where two people were treated for minor injuries.
The female driver was taken to Bristol Royal Infirmary with hip pains but her injuries are not thought to have been serious.
