The incident happened at about 9.45am in Monmouth Road, Pill, today (Wednesday).

When fire crews arrived they found the truck had fallen forward on to its front wheels.

The male driver, thought to be in his 50s, was not hurt but was unable to get to safety due to the vehicle being in a precarious position.

Firefighters worked quickly to stabilise the truck before putting a ladder up to the cab and helping the man climb down.
