The tale of Old Mother Hubbard will be told by a local drama group this week.
Long Ashton will be treated to a pantomime over the next couple of days as a group of actors and actresses take on Old Mother Hubbard’s Wonderful Cupboard.
The story follows Hubbard and her amazing cupboard which, when opened, leads to Wonderland, Dreamland and the Land of Ice and Snow.
However, trouble is never far away when her son Dominic meets Alianna, the Ice Queen’s daughter.
The bad luck streak only continues when the Red Queen escapes Wonderland in search of Alice.
The show is filled with twists and turns and songs as well as plenty of jokes.
The pantomime will be at the village hall, in Keedwell Hill on Friday and Saturday
There will be a 7.30pm performance each night, with an additional matinee at 2.30pm on Saturday.
Tickets, priced £3-7, are available from beckygraham@blueyonder.co.uk or 01275 392520.
