AN EPISODE of Dr Who filmed at Wraxall’s Tyntesfield estate will be screened on BBC1 on Saturday.
The National Trust-owned property was used as a haunted mansion for the instalment called Hide, which features a ghost story.
The Doctor and his assistant Clara arrive at a haunted mansion on a desolate moor where they meet an uptight professor, Major Alec Palmer, and “empathic psychic” Emma Grayling who are investigating a spectre known as the Witch of the Well.
Filming at Tyntesfield took place last May over three days and saw the house used for the interior settings.
To mark the screening of the episode, Dr Who and Matt Smith lookalike, Matt Elliott, will be seen wandering around the estate on Saturday and Sunday, when he will meet visitors and have his photo taken with them.
