Young riders lined up to take part in the popular donkey derby at Backwell School.

The animals raced across the field while spectators bet on whick donkey would cross the finish line first.

Visitors were also able to fight each other in sumo wrestling suits, burn off steam on the bouncy castle and enjoy a variety of dance and judo demonstrations.

A blind auction was held for a signed Bristol Rovers football.

The event was organised by 1st Backwell Scouts and the money raised from Sunday will go towards its funds.
