MORE than 2,500 was raised for a brain injury charity by volunteers who braved the icy water at Portishead’s marina.
Fundraisers were challenged with being rescued from the water by a team of Newfoundland dogs as part of the event, which was held to collect cash for Headway Bristol.
The charity, which runs an outpost in Clevedon, provides support and rehabilitation services to adults who have survived a brain injury.
