KEEN fundraisers will dive into the water of Portishead’s marina on Saturday to be rescued by a team of Newfoundland dogs.
The event on Saturday is being held to raise money for the Bristol-based brain injury charity, Headway, and will feature dogs owned by the Clapton-in-Gordano organisation, Newfound Friends.
The 14-stone dogs are trained to rescue people from water and anyone wishing to take part should contact Debbie Lloyd on 0117 340 3771 or email info@headwaybristol.org.uk
