A MOTHER and daughter enjoyed a family day out at Taunton Racecourse after winning a school holiday challenge.

The 6th Clevedon West Brownies organised a diamond trail for people to take part in during the summer holidays which saw participants tasked with finding all of the diamonds hidden in shop windows in the town. As a result, Anya and Caroline Fairhurst were picked as the winners and rewarded with their tickets.

The group also organised a treasure hunt which took participants around Clevedon – this was won by the Jones family.
