COUNCILLORS in Backwell are warning villagers that the outcome of Backwell Neighbourhood Plan is likely to be delayed.
Following a recent High Court decision, North Somerset Council is reviewing elements of its core strategy regarding future housing development. This must be resolved before the Backwell plan can go to the next stage of formal examination as the village plan must be in line with the core strategy.
Backwell Parish Council will keep residents informed as the plan progresses.
