A woman died following a ‘medical emergency’ in Clevedon this morning (Monday).
Land and air ambulances crews were called to Strode Road to reports of an emergency, but the woman - who is yet to be named - died shortly afterwards.
A South Western Ambulance Service Trust spokesman said: "We were called at 7.40am about an incident on Strode Road, Clevedon.
"We sent various resources to attend the incident including a land ambulance crew, an air ambulance crew and specialist paramedics."
Avon and Somerset Constabulary also attended the incident.
Its spokesman said: "It was a medical emergency which ambulance attended.
"Sadly the woman died shortly afterwards.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the coroner."
