Staff at Dogs Palace UK in Nailsea High Street regularly see Marmite, Billie-Jean and Spode and helped them to look their best for their moment in the spotlight at the NEC in Birmingham.

In recognition of their efforts, they were each then offered a complimentary pamper session on their return from the show.

Female leonberger, Marmite, is owned by twin sisters Jane Cavill and Marion Feather, from Portishead, and competed in the yearlings class.

Female Belgian shepherd, Billie-Jean, is owned by Gill Brown, from Clevedon, and was placed first in the post-graduate bitch class.

Male wire fox terrier, Spode, is owned by Lindsay Smith, from Portishead and was placed first in the good citizen class.
